She had watched the walls go up on the outside of the house, and then the process of building them up with lathing and then plaster. Each step of the process fascinated her, and it took everything she had not to ask dozens of questions, and ignore the desire to ask if she could help with anything. She never tired of watching the construction, fascinated beyond her wildest imagination.
